Campus Life
NTI is a small, private college located in a southeast suburb of the Minneapolis and St. Paul metropolitan area. Our small size ensures students are known by name and receive individualized attention (lab sizes average less than 16 students); and graduates receive job assistance for life. Our scheduling (5 hours per day, 4 days per week) means students get to know their class mates and have ample time for part time work, study, tutoring (provided free of charge), and family.
NTI provides a campus-like atmosphere, but focuses on preparing students for careers that last a lifetime. As such, NTI does things a bit differently than many colleges:
- NTI assists students in locating living accommodations or roommates, rather than provide them student housing.
- NTI helps students attain part-time jobs in the field while attending college, rather than offer extra-curricular activities.
- NTI goes year round so students become graduates faster, rather than take the summers off.
- NTI offers a set curriculum so students get the courses needed at the time they are needed, rather than ask students to register every term.
- NTI evaluates students’ performance several times each term in a manner similar to industry, rather than allow the course grade to be the only measure of performance.
