Well another year has come and gone with success and disappointment as always in any competition. Brainerd International Raceway so graciously gave us the opportunity to use their facilities again this year and we hope to compete again there next year!

Henry Sibley High School won our award, “Highest Mileage Increase for a Second Year Team.” They increased their mileage by nearly 300 miles to the gallon!! That is a HUGE accomplishment!! CONGRATS!!

Another team I would like to highlight is Watertown-Mayer High School. Their car was looking FANTASTIC to say the least.
This car was a must see with countless hours put into the car by the advisor (Jim Erickson) and also the team members. Mileage was good, car was running awesome, until they had a horrible mishap…which was not the teams’ nor the drivers fault. Everyone was fine with some minor injuries, but the car didn’t fair too well. Thankfully there were some pictures to capture this beauty. Maybe again next year Jim? Let me know if there is anything NTI can do to help and we will try our best!
Thanks to everyone for a fun year and myself and NTI are looking forward to doing this again next year! Have a great summer!
